📣 Upcoming AccessPrivacy Workshop – July 25, 2025
The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC)
has launched a public consultation on the development of a Canadian Children’s Privacy Code, a potential framework that could significantly impact organizations processing minors’ personal information, even if not child-directed.

Join us for an interactive online workshop to unpack the implications of this important initiative:
🗓 Friday, July 25, 2025
🕚 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. ET
📍 Online | Registration Required
🔹 Speakers:
Adam Kardash, Eloïse Gratton, LL.D., ICD.D. and Joanna Fine (Partners, Osler’s National Privacy and Data Management Group)
Natascha Gerlach CIPP/E Gerlach (Director of Privacy & Data
Policy, Centre for Information Policy Leadership)

This session will provide insights into the OPC’s
consultation process, the potential scope and application of the code, and key considerations for organizations preparing submissions.

🗣️ We encourage active participation, stakeholder input from the workshop will help inform the broader conversation, and a recording will be submitted to the OPC as part of its consultation. OPC representatives have also been invited to attend in an observer role.
