Privacy XChange Forum 2016
This year’s Privacy XChange Forum event is taking place on October 16-18 and is held at the Boulders Resort & Spa, situated in the foothills of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert. I am delighted to present with co-panelists Kate Black, Joëlle Jouret and Francesca Spidalieri on October 17th, on “Where In the World: A Quick and Easy Breakdown of Privacy Standards and Regulations”.
From the E.U.-U.S. Privacy Shield to the General Data Protection Regulation, data security regulations are getting updated to adapt to today’s security and privacy needs. In our session, participants will learn how to determine which privacy and security standards (U.S. – Canada and EU) they should use as resources for their own programs and how they should be applied to their organization’s unique risk profile.
Attendees will walk away with:
- An overview of various regulations that impact businesses
- Tips to evaluate their own business’s risk profile
- Case studies that illustrate best practices for the design implementation and sustenance of privacy and information security protections.
Privacy XChange Forum speakers come from around the world to share their passion for privacy and get practical, achievable steps to secure their organizational and employee and customer data from cyber threats.
